User policies
1. Data collection
Phone number: Convite stores your phone number on our server to identify you and allow you to access the application securely.
Contacts: If you choose to share items with your contacts, you can upload the ones you choose. This allows your contacts to consult your items but it’s only used for this purpose.
2. Content you publish
Items and images: You have the freedom to create items (objects, services, events) and add images to them. You are responsible for the content you publish. Please ensure it is appropriate and respects the rights of others.
3. Privacy and sharing
Full control: You decide who to share your items with. The information you publish will only be visible to:
- Yourself
- The specific contacts you choose to share with
No public publishing: Your items are not publicly visible. Only people you authorize can see them.
4. Managing your information
Delete publications: You can delete your items directly from the application at any time. This action is immediate.
Request account deletion: If you wish to have your account and all associated data deleted (profile, items, requests), you can do so by completing this form.
Your request will be processed within 30 business days. The following will be permanently deleted:
- Your profile which corresponds only to your mobile number
- All your published items
- Your exchange requests
Note: In order for your data to be deleted, you cannot have active loans.
5. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security on the internet. Do not share your access code with anyone, it is the only valid method to access your account.
6. Changes in policies
We reserve the right to update these policies. We will notify you of important changes through the application.
